Prologue comic (2 minute read, highly recommended)
The ISS Vanguard is an exploration ship sent to discover the source of The Signal, seeking out the Sacred Co-ordinates.
Players take the responsibility of one of the four department heads:
Each Department head has various responsibilities on board the ship, and is also responsible for sending and controlling a department crew member on away missions. The crew are recruited from a pool of those awakening from hyper sleep, and can be used to perform tasks on the ship, develop their skills and run away missions. They can also be killed! Every crew member is unique and has their own backstory (and a unique objective).
The first task of the away team was to investigate a cloaked sphere before the ISS Vanguard ran straight into it. The Sphere turned out to be a solar system sized Dyson Sphere, containing an array of shattered planets and no life. However, information was recovered, as per the following cool video!
