Had a good day at Chilcon on Saturday helped GNS James and FH Scott with their Dinoproof Game attending as Janco Toys
For those that don’t know Dinoproof is basically a cross between Running Man and Jurrasic Park
Table after the hunters had parachuted in
The good stuff soon started, supposedly there were a Blue Team and Red Team but that really didn’t pan out.
Fortunately all the hunters had been made up the same with great armour and good combat and medic skills to mean they could take on larger dino’s.
As it was a participation game players soon joined and were cajoled into doing the dirty on each other rather than working as a team, some seemed to take less convincing than others. It was at this point the secondary objective was identified, basically ignore all else and kill Scott. To loud shouts of huzzar from around the room several dinos headed his way.
The Spinosaurus recently brought on from the table edge used its special once per game ambush attack as a group of three chums had at each other, the degree of animosity and double dealing that went on brought a tear to my eye. Some say a loud bald man goaded them on but I was 100% unaware of that.
Seeing its great rival eating tasty hunters the Tyrant King set off for battle.
One hunter was not having a good time of it as he was half bitten in half then stomped flat.
These two massive beasties decided that after a rather nice appetizer course of human flash they were ready for the main course i.e. each other.
Spoiler alert, as the big purple and orange one had been fightign three hunters it has a slight disadvantage that the big green one made the best of and finally answered the question who would win.
By this time hunters across the table were busy using medi packs and looking for smaller prey.
My brave hunter was pinned by a pack of raptors.
The pinning being mainly carried out with massive hooked claws and huge pointy teeth
It was at this point I headed back to reality as I was out in the afternoon so left our brave hero’s battling it out.
I hope the rest of the afternoon was as much fun as the morning and that plenty more silver stickers were handed out to the crowds.
Really good day out and managed to pick up some nice trees that need a little work.
